busy busy

 whew ... it's been a crazy week! with school coming up FAST and this little bundle of sweetness ( my nephew) i have been on the go constantly! here's a few snapshots til my next post because of course i "gotta run" .....

this new little guy is such a bundle of sweetness, i can't get enough of him already! i am soooo proud of the great job my sister did bringing little gavin into the world! what an honor it was to be a part of his birth. auntie rach loves you!!!!!

friends forever

our summer wouldn't be complete without a trip or two to MN to visit our besties! last month we went up to their house for a week and had some fun!

there were many things we actually had planned but the weather did NOT cooperate! you see the temps ranged from 101 to 107 ... hot hot hot! so, needless to say we had a change of  plans but that did not stop this group of 10 from enjoying each others company to fullest!

it is so hard to believe that we sat together in a hotel suite in guatemala city  8yrs ago and became parents at the exact same time when these two precious babes were brought through the doorway and placed  in our arms

nothing says summer like a big watermelon :)

low key weekend

 ahhh ... what a great feeling. this weekend we didn't have any plans so we decided to grill out and chill out at home.  don't get me wrong i do love to be out and about but sometimes being home is the best!  my parents came over and of course our neighbors (my sis & her hub).   we sat outside and relaxed with a few drinks in hand.

today i am thinking it is a great time for this wee little baby to make it's big entrance into the world! i'm excited, my kiddo's are excited and my sister and bro-in-law are beyond ready to meet their little love! come on baby this auntie rach is ready to do some spoiling :)
