just a little funny from today as we were chillin' on the couch!!!!

jonah: what the hell?

mommy: ( turn to hubs with a surprised look on face wondering if he just heard the same thing )

daddy: jonah, what did you say? ( not sure if he heard right )

jonah: i say "what the hell?" ( in a very calm nonchalant voice )

daddy: jonah, that's not very nice to say! we don't say that word!

jonah: ( turns to mommy ) mommy, no say "what the hell?", that not nice!

mommy: ( hiding my laugh because i was just BUSTED by my 2yr old ) you are right jonah, that's not nice and mommy should not have said that!

i tell ya the little EARS around here do not miss a thing! ;)

where did the time go???

this evening we went to peru catholic's open house to check out noah's classroom projects as well as pre-register julie for preschool! i find it soooo hard to believe that noah will be going into 2nd grade this coming fall! wwwhhhhattt?!?!?!? where did the time go??? and our second little will be starting preschool?!?!? again, i say ..... where did the time go???

preschool ... my baby boy was not such a "baby" anymore! sniff sniff

kindergarten ... off to school all day, everyday! learning to read and much, much, much more!!!

1st grade .... my little boy has grown so much this year! it is absolutely amazing what he has learned and continues to learn!

you are next baby girl!!!!!!

noah, you make me so proud! i am having so much fun watching you grow and learn everyday. it is the greatest feeling in the world to be your MOM!

julie, i cannot believe i just registered my baby girl for school! you are such a sweet little love bug and i know you will love every second of school. you make me one happy MOMMY! :)

museum

saturday morning when we woke up we decided to take a trip to the museum of science & industry! we always have the best time on our "spur of the moment" kind of days!! all three of my kiddos had a great time walking around and exploring for the day! :)

thankful thoughts

often times i find myself just flying through my days taking things for granted. life is a great gift and it is important for me to stop and "smell the roses" once in a while. i want to be thankful for what i have because there are many people less fortunate.

~ i am thankful for my loving, supportive husband, we are a great team
~ i am thankful for my three beautiful children, they complete me
~ i am thankful for my faith, without God nothing is possible
~ i am thankful for my parents, they mean everything to me and the love they have for their grandchildren is incredible
~ i am thankful for my sisters, i couldn't imagine my life without them
~ i am thankful i am able to stay at home with my children, i don't miss a thing
~ i am thankful i have a warm & cozy house, there are many people freezing this winter
~ i am thankful i have such a close extended family, they mean the world to me
~ i am thankful for my friends, they brighten my day
~ i am thankful i was raised with great morals, values and respect for all people, there are many people that lack this and it is truly sad
~ i am thankful for girls night out once a month, oh boy do us girls need them ;)
