california part 1

our first two days of vacations consisted of traveling and of course the BEACH!!!!! my kids did awesome on the plane. noah has been on a plane many many times, julie a few and this was jonah's first time! they were content with the goodies in their backpacks and didn't make a peep the whole trip! hooray! ;)

the weather in san diego was perfect, 78 and SUNNY! we stepped out of the airport and soaked in the beauty of the sun and palm trees but then it was time to get down to business and head to the beach baby!

it's so hard to wait when you are excited

noah was busy

as was jonah

and julie too!

we made it to the beach and had the makings of a sand castle underway

breaking out of the sand mound

needed a dip in the ocean for that sand mess

ahhh ... i love it

he LOVED doing this

julie worked, worked and worked on the castle

back in the hotel until the next fun day
