california part 2

here we go .... part 2!!!

our friend's girlfriend is a trainer at Sea World and hooked us up with an incredible deal ( insert a big shout out to mike wisgoski and zandra!! ) so it was off to Sea World for the shermans5! we love, love, loved it there! the kiddos were in awe the whole time and didn't know what to look at next. as soon as we got through the gates we thought we would start out "big" and make a visit to shamu! after all he's kind of a big deal there ... ha! :)

so here he is, the big star of the show ....

there was a really neat tide pool filled with starfish that everyone could touch ...

the shamu show was pretty awesome, it's amazing how big they are and how they are able to be trained ....

oh how i loved watching these little fella's ....

we were able to meet one of zandra's faves, his name is chicken mc'lovin (haha) ...

then it was time to say goodbye to Sea World after a long fun filled day of sea life. the next day we thought we would just hang out at the beach. ahh .. there is nothing like it!



julie was pooped out and before i knew it she just found herself a spot on the beach towel and was out ...

catchin' some waves or maybe just a mouthful of salt water, either way he's pretty cute ...

stopped at the hard rock for some yummy lunch ...

then did a harbor cruise in evening ...

the next day it was time for the San Diego Zoo!!! it is an amazing zoo and really fun but OMG there are SO many hills to walk up and with a stroller it can get very old really fast! ha! we saw just about everything there and had a great day!




as we were underground this polar bear did a canon ball into the water, it was so cute ...

the big animals are always the biggest hit ...

some of the monkeys escaped ;) ...


too funny, this big guy kept putting his butt right up on the glass!!!! everyone was dying laughing and i swear the more people laughed the more the gorilla did it ...

noah was all smiles on the sky ride ...






it was a fun couple of days for us, that's for sure!!! we had to rest up because we left california with a bang and saved DISNEYLAND for last! :)

california part 1

our first two days of vacations consisted of traveling and of course the BEACH!!!!! my kids did awesome on the plane. noah has been on a plane many many times, julie a few and this was jonah's first time! they were content with the goodies in their backpacks and didn't make a peep the whole trip! hooray! ;)

the weather in san diego was perfect, 78 and SUNNY! we stepped out of the airport and soaked in the beauty of the sun and palm trees but then it was time to get down to business and head to the beach baby!

we made it to the beach and had the makings of a sand castle underway

ahh ... what an amazingly wonderful time the shermans 5 had in california! it was so nice to just completely soak in every second of each other. it just might have been the best vacation yet!!!

for now i have loads of laundry to catch up on, bills to pay and lots to register the kiddos for BUT .... i will be uploading my pics in between all of that so stay tuned!! ;)
